Roskilde Festival continuously works at improving and developing the enviromental aspekts of the Festival. The Festival pays deposit for all beverage cups, crate handles and bottles sold from the beverage stalls. You will get your deposit back when you return cups or bottles to one of the deposit stalls. The system is so efficient that approximately 95% of the plastic cups are returned to the deposit points. We buy back cups given to the audience in front of the stages, and pay deposit for cans - even though they´re not sold on the festival.
